A warm welcome to Lotus Residence, Sillian, Austria.
The Residence is of recent construction in full wood with natural insulation which provides a pleasant stay even during the hard winter months.
At just 5 minutes away from the Thurntaler Mountain skiing resort, with several ski slopes for all levels. For those who love cross-country-skiing there are miles of slopes across beautiful valleys, including the wonderful Fiscalina Valley.
The small village offers you the possibility to relax and at the same time to have a taste of the local traditions and folklore. The city of Lienz is about 30 minutes away.
We offer you the possibility of a pleasant stay in a large apartment of about 200 sft., with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
A spacious dining room with kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, cooking facilities, microwave, multi system–SAT TV, and a balcony with a beautiful view onto the Helm Mountain; all in the quiet residential area of Sillian.

◉ Skis, sledges and bicycles can be kept inside
◉ Pets can be accepted on agreement between owner and renter
◉ A Ski–bus stop is just 50 mt away from the Residence.
Spring welcomes you with multi color fields and rare flowers of the beautiful Villgraten valley and in the Wild Animal Park of Assling where deer and many other animals rejoice about the coming of the warm season.
The Dolomite Natural Park of Sesto is nearby and offers several excursions and hiking. Come and discover the cultural treasures of the High Pustertal Valley.
During the summer it’s the right time to discover the wonderful world of the Dolomites: the famous Three Picks, Brais and Toblacher lakes, the highland of Piazza field are just a few of the beauties that are within your reach. The biking lane that goes to Lienz is quite famous and takes you across the beautiful valley along the side of the River Drau; being almost completely downhill, it can be done even by kids, with the possibility of a return journey by train.
The ‘ Wichtel Park’ (Dwarf Park) is one of the most fascinating parks in Austria with several attractions for younger and older kids. For those who cannot do without water the outdoor swimming pool ‘ViThal’ offers sun and fun with a little playground for kids, tennis, basketball and soccer courts.
In Lienz there’s also a very large outdoor swimming pool and, in the nearby Tristach, a beautiful natural mountain lake fully equipped for swimming and diving from an elastic trampoline. The ‘Acquafun” swimming pool in Innichen can be visited every day of the year.
Autumn invites you to the harvest of potatoes, to the return of the cows from the Alpine hut and to the Thanksgiving Harvest Feast. In this season wonderful colors walk with you during pleasant outings in pure and clear air; or just to relax and absorb solar energy.
In winter you can put on your cross-country-skis and take the slope right outside the house.
The downhill slopes of the Thurnthal Mountain resort are just 5 minutes away by car and reachable by ski–bus that stops at 50 mt. from the Residence. 15 minutes away on the Italian side of the area you can visit the well-known Skiing resorts of the Helm, Sextner Dolomiten and Haunold.
Last, but not least there are other possibilities of having relaxing outings, such as hiking with snow–shoes or joyful sliding in several beautiful slopes.
